The Dartmoor National Park
A vast expanse of gorse and heather covered hills with spectacular tors (immense granite rock formations) which add a unique character to the landscape. The park contains some of the most unspoilt villages in the country and is home to hardy breeds of sheep and cattle, and of course, the famous Dartmoor ponies.
