Our summer season of 2021 has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs – as always – it’s been our little Welcome family that has helped us pave the way through.
When restrictions were lifted in July, we made the decision to keep our numbers limited in our Cruisers Club and our Covid accredited cleaning procedures in place, simply because we didn’t feel comfortable opening up fully.
As we have seen more and more visitors come to our corner of Devon and Dawlish Warren see one of its busiest seasons on record – it was almost inevitable that we would be affected, but we certainly didn’t expect for the whole of our Entertainments Team to get ‘pinged’ in one day!
The phrase ‘The Show Must Go On!’ certainly came into its own that weekend! Whilst Mark and his whole team locked themselves away, our Mr Price jumped on the phone and arranged almost a full programme of entertainment for the whole time the team were isolating!
Liz Holden-Price, who once upon a time was our Entertainments Manager, Roger Parkes who was our Musical Director plus fantastic cabaret and Ollie Murs tribute act Mark Andrews, rallied around and managed to bring a fabulous weekend of entertainment to all our guests on the park.
Thankfully the team are all safe and well and now back where they belong – but it’s wonderful to know we have so many friends around that are happy to help us out in a time of need!
So for those of you that were staying with us on the park we’d like to thank you all so much for your support and kind words and if you are planning on coming to stay with us soon – rest assured – you will always have fantastic entertainment during your stay!
