“We will definitely be returning. Cannot recommend this holiday park highly enough.”
We stayed in the blue reef caravan Mon-Fri, and despite it being a pet friendly caravan, it was very clean and well looked after, couldn’t fault it one bit. The staff at reception are lovely and always happy to help. The club on site was brilliant, children’s activities throughout the day, and the evening entertainment was fantastic, again all staff at the club were always happy to help and very friendly. They also have security monitoring the club from open to closing which made me feel very secure especially having our 6 year old daughter running around. The food served in the club was lovely and reasonably priced, they also have a takeaway at the side of the club. The pool was clean and there was a small pool for children, there was always a minimum of 3 life guards on at any one time which was very reassuring, the Jacuzzi was lovely.
Outside of the park there is a little supermarket which stocks all every day essentials, and is as cheap as chips, almost like a pound shop, there is a small gift shop that sells arm bands and goggles for under 2 pound each, as well as many other gifts at very low prices.
A 10 minute walk from the park is a pub called the Silly Goose, which serves lovely food but is a little pricey. Then a couple of minutes from the pub is a fun fair open all day, again is reasonably priced and great fun for the kids and the adults who are still a kid at heart.
A little further on is another pub I can’t remember the name but is very expensive so didn’t try the food, opposite that there are the arcades, then there is the beach front. There is also a train station that you can catch a train down to Dawlish, Exeter etc. and again the ticket prices are very reasonable, believe it or not but cheaper than the bus.
We will definitely be returning. Cannot recommend this holiday park highly enough.
