On 6 February this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
To mark this unprecedented anniversary, along with the rest of the country, we welcome the four day UK bank holiday from Thursday 2 June through to Sunday 5 June.
Celebrate with us
To join in celebrating Her Majesty’s historic reign we have got together an amazing weekend to mark this totally incredible event!
The main theme in the Cruisers Club for Jubilee Weekend will be ‘A Day at the Races’ so if you are coming to stay with us make sure you pack your biggest and best hats along with your finest bib and tucker!
There will be heaps of Jubilee themed arts and crafts, face painting, balloon modelling and glitter tattoos along with lots of competitions, games and prizes.
Togs and corgis
We will also be making an award to the ‘Best Dressed Table’ and there will be the most hilarious Corgi racing you’ve ever seen (did you know Her Majesty has owned more than 30 Corgis and Dorgis during her reign, most of which have been descended from her first Corgi, Susan, who was given to her on her eighteenth birthday!)
