It has to be said that 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year for all of us – so we love being able to share good news with all the family!
We are absolutely thrilled to say that all of the 2020 Entertainment Team will be returning to the park again for 2021 – we’re so thrilled that Kierran, Kelly, Jack, Dylan, Lauren, Shannon and Ebony will all be here with you on your holiday next year!
We all agree that Mark and his team have been absolutely incredible this year, time and again pulling great performances out of the bag in what were really challenging times.
Highs and lows
Back in March, after months of rehearsals, the team were so excited about welcoming you back to the park and finally being able to get back on stage, so you can imagine how devastated they were when days before opening we went into our first national lockdown. But you can’t keep these guys and gals down for long, and within a matter of days they were researching, planning and adapting to try and still bring you all fantastic entertainment whilst keeping everyone safe and protected.
And so came the first of the Friday Night Shows being streamed out to you all every week during lockdown and wow what an amazing response we had from you all – we really loved your support and enthusiasm during the highs and the lows of putting these shows together.
The best, the most emotional and the most moving for us by far was the VE Day show. The team managed to put together this outstanding performance in just 4 days and it was certainly one of the highlights of the year for us all here at the park.
When the park was able to open, everything was flipped on its head as once more, and the team changed and adapted to bring you the best entertainment possible with the guidelines we had.
Looking forward to next year
So having shared the most turbulent season we’ve ever had as a park – you can understand why we are so over the moon about having the team back together for next year!
Work is well underway for next years shows, props are being built and songs, ideas and costumes are in the initial stages of creation and we will be keeping you up to date over the next few weeks with next years line up!
