Well, what a few weeks it’s been – we hope you are all safe and well.As you will know, we have closed our park in line with government restrictions and we are truly missing you all already. We’re sure you can imagine how disappointed we all are not being able to open, however, we fully support the decision to close and do our part to reduce the spread of this virus.
Shout out to our audience
First, we’d like to send a great big Thank You! to everyone who watched Mark and his team’s fantastic opener last week – a over a whopping 17,000 views!
And so, so many wonderful comments, words of support, clips of your family dancing along with us in front of the telly, it’s really heartwarming and reassuring for us to know you are out there joining in the fun.
We are trying to reach out to anyone who is feeling the strain from having to isolate, be alone, in lockdown – so anyone you know in that difficult situation, let them know about our page and invite them along as well! This effort is for them as much as anyone right now.
We are family
We are so lucky here at Welcome to be part of such an incredible team and it’s at times like this that we all realise the value of being part of this extended family. In particular, our entertainment team have been living together on site for the past 6 weeks, and are classed as a family under the current guidelines.
This weekend would have been our opening weekend for the 2020 season and as the team have been working so hard right up until lockdown to get ready to see you, we felt it was a real shame to let this go to waste.
Friday night, 27 March, we are so excited to have found a way to safely bring to you what would have been our opening night show as Mark Price and his fabulous team will be live streaming from 7pm on the Mark Price Welcome Family Facebook page here!
So whilst we may not be able to all be together, we do hope you will all join us on Friday, sit back and relax with all the family and simply just enjoy the show.
