Taking kids into the city might feel like a real effort sometimes. The best advice to make sure you all enjoy your time is to be prepared. Making your way into the city and wandering around, hoping that something exciting and entertaining will fall into your laps is where the feet-dragging begins. It’s also normally when your day starts to get a little more expensive. Don’t worry, we’re here to help.

It is also said to be one of the most picturesque cities in the UK, great for sunset wandering, eating and drinking. Unfortunately, that’s unlikely to entertain the kids for too long. Explore Exeter With Hunt Fun

Hunt Fun are a unique and stimulating way to explore this fantastic city. They curate scavenger or treasure hunts, tailoring the prizes, clues, locations and fun to your group. You and your team (family, friends – whoever you want to include) are sent on a goose chase around the city, working out clues and moving on to your next place of interest. This is a great one for parents or adults who know little ones don’t have the attention span to see all the sites but don’t want to go without. The excitement keeps the kids going and the routes through Roman Walk, the Cathedral and other hotspots will leave you feeling soaked in culture.

We think this is a memorable way to explore a new place or see your nearest city in a whole new light. You could pack a picnic and take things at a leisurely pace or treat the winning team to a nice meal somewhere in the city. This is perfect for special occasions; family get togethers and quality time!
